Have a go at following @countess of Essex

There is some funny stuff on there, especially comments regarding 1950’s DIY magazines

If you're on Twitter and you don't follow BBC Archive, you're missing out on one of the best reasons to be there.
I'd go as far as to say, it's a good enough reason to join twitter.

My favourite thread today. An arrest of a ER protestor, but if you like puns, the thread is brilliant.

Why was he arrested?

The police want their 5 a day.
Breach of the peas.

There's a 'Scotish Twitter' thread which is mighty fine.
I was reading it this morning via Max Rushden's feed.

Speaking of twitter, shouldn't NSC have a user-friendly twitter quoting facility by now Bozza? It can be done currently, but it's a bit tortuous and I'm guessing beyond the know-how of most NSC users, including myself most of the time. Normally end up editing twitter quote of user far smarter than me

I saw that yesterday – quality!

People moan about Twitter and, to a point, they are right that it's a load of shite, but there are some gems to be found on there. Some people just take it WAAAAY to seriously. The State of LinkedIn account is another good source of amusement.
