From the minute i first saw him in stripes i knew we had a quality player. His touch & ball control, Quality.
As i said in the match thread earlier i'd like to know how much ground he covers each game. And he's like the energizer bunny, Just keeps going & going.

So happy he got his first goal for us today, Hopefully he will get a nice long term contract.

Same here, I thought "wow, this lad looks mustard". I was surprised he didn't get a regular team place after his debut appearance, but as long as he's playing well and holding his position with aplomb now, that's the main thing!

Absoloutely superb today and is fast becoming Player of the Season, most important player in the team. Believe he mentioned recently in an interview he hasn't heard us singing his name, this needs to change on Tuesday. Hope he signs a long contract very soon.

Absolute scorcher of a goal. Was a class act today throughout the match.

What a way to score your first ever goal in professional football. I didn't think the team would ever get up from their mass bundle.

If we have any sense, we will offer him a decent deal and if he has any sense, he will sign it.

Edit: Wasn't he on trial at Palace, but they turned him down? :lolol:

EditII: Liam Bridcutt - CPFC BBS Yes, yes he was.

Note that the quality starting to blend into the first team is creating a bit of healthy competition for places.
We've had Navarro, Kishishev, Sparrow and others out through injuries or suspensions, yet kept the project heading onwards and upwards. (add AeA to that, but I hope not to jinx the next match by assuming we'll do alright without him!)

Our reserves must be getting increasingly watch-able.
I heard about the Norwegian lad showing promise too.

Is anyone on here going to see them, and can report anything about that?

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
He was on loan at Watford last season, as their fans laughed when they saw he was in our squad for the FA cup game. I bet they weren't laughing after the game.
