The Man inherited a team on shite form, with no spirit and no fight and made them WORSE :yahoo:.

5 games with 1 win and 4 defeats.

Should he stay or should he go ?.

I would not mind the Rotund Potato staying as I do not think there would be a queue of decent managers putting in their CV's for the job anyway.

Whats the verdict ?.

Let him put himself forward in a competitive process against anyone else who wants it.

In theory be good to get shot then get someone with better credentials in. In reality , he is probably the best we can get

If the rumours are true about him applying for the Huddersfield job whilst Yeovil boss are true, is/was he looking to go back 'up north' and thats why he's only with us til the end of the season?
Hope not cos with the right support, he'd be a very good long term manager.

Decent manager. Let him build his own team for next season whatever league we're in. He can't be judged on this season.

Kin hell. Give him a chance.

He played Virgo and El Abd in midfield last weekend. I bet he won't play both of them there again. Like he wont play Jarrett drag back and pass backwards or Livermore at left back again. He see's what we see unlike Adams who did the same thing week in week out and then wondered why we were toilet.

Shame is we've only got 9 games left to turn this mess of Adams making round and Slade is still learning about our squad.

The thing that concernes me most is if Slade goes at the end of the season who is going to be making the decisions on our out of contract players? Any new manager that comes in wont have worked with them so the decisions will more than likely be down to Dick Knight, Dean White, Bob Booker and a possible input from Barry Lloyd. :nono:

Slade to front the contract decisions and then get the sack, in a deja vu of this season maybe?

I have no idea if he's a good or bad manager tbh. he doesn't seem to be making much impression so far though, hope that changes this w/e.

I expect he selected the teams for the first few games, taking advice from the Chuckle Brothers. :wozza:

He needs to stay, and be given permission to perform a total clearout of the squad and backroom staff! If he isnt then a new manager that will!

He won me over with the 5-0.

I want him as manager long term, because he's the man for the job right now I think.

I said in a thread about a week or so ago, I think he'll be asked to stay IF we go down and that the board have somebody in place ready for if he keeps us up.

Should have been given an 18 month contract (or whatever takes him until the end of next season) to start with so he could bring his own people in, if indeed he wanted to.
