...we will go 10th (albeit only until Saturday). Top half of the table! Bonkers.

It's all very well thinking this stuff, but come on chaps you know the rules.

And we'll only need a further 8 or 9 wins to see us right, in all probability.

That's mental to think. I know, in the Prem that's still a tall order, but yeah...

I'd take a draw...
Tough call.

We want about 10 wins over the season for survival. We're not going to all 10 at home, we're going to need a couple of away wins, and this is one of the easier chances on paper. But we need draws too.

Checking the odds, we should average just over a point for this game (about 1.08). Too close to call.

Even if we win tomorrow, we'll still need ten more wins.....and that's assuming we pick up a few more draws too.
Nah, 10 wins should be enough for us. Given the way we play we should get some draws too.

Shirley it depends on who those wins are against?

In the unlikely event of hammering out 9 more wins against the top 6, 10 may well be enough.

But 8 more wins, perhaps even 7, only against the perennial bottom feeders like palace would see us right.

It will never happen.

You know what's it's like. We'll lose to Bournemouth, who will gett a dodgy penalty, and then Palace will beat Southampton because of the new manager effect. That's how it works. The football God's won't let us have that much fun.

We'll then draw against Newcastle and everyone will be panicking again.

Well really it depends on all the results of teams over the course of the season, but for the sake of working out what should be enough, 10 wins and 8 draws should be enough.

Maybe, maybe not. 10 wins (total) should be enough, 8 or 9, maybe not.

If Bournemouth are one of our relegation rivals for the season, denying them 3 points in one of their easiest games of the season would be good.
