Fact is they don't even play football in The Phils !

Fact is they do play football in the Philippines but to a very very bad standard..a bit like Palace.

GREAT ASPIRATION FOR GREATWICH

Chris Greatwich is one of the more talented players to have come out of the Philippines in recent years.

Following from his performance at the recent SEA Games, he followed that up with another positive outing at the Asean Football Championship which concluded earlier this month.
Q:
At what age did you first start playing football?
A:
I first started playing football when I was around three or four. My dad is really football-mad and he used to take me down the local park and play with me. He used to encourage me to learn skills and tricks of other players and try to replicate them when I would practice. My dad is the guy who taught me the fundamentals of football from a very young age. I started playing organized football when I was around six or seven, playing for my local team. Then from there I also played for my school teams and then eventually my county team and the professional club in my area, Brighton and Hove Albion.

Q:
You played with the Brighton & Hove Albion first team, how was that experience?
A:
I played a few pre-season games for them when I was 18, which was nice. I mostly played for the youth team and the reserves and I grew up through their school of excellence. A number of my team-mates from Brighton have now gone on to be regular members of the first team, and some of them have gone on to represent England and Scotland at various levels so I was in good company when I was there.

Only if its the biggest game on. Absolutely no guarantee it'll be available.

eh up old boy...as I have been in the Philippines for the last 15 Januarys I can assure you that in the sports bars you WILL see any game that is being played and is being televised.

You can sit in a bar at 11pm (3PM UK TIME) and watch every Premeier shit game..(as is the case in most asian countries)

Dont comment until you know the facts.

A premier league team would be nice, either a northern one or one with a big ground because otherwise I won't get a ticket.
Liverpool would be delightful. Or Palace, of course.
