Obviously we have as much chance of signing him as we do Harry Kane but there is no disputing that he is a class act at our level that as a player. perhaps not as a person, that any club apart from about 4 or 5 would want to sign and some of those 4 or 5 may even be interested.

And you , as he is CPFC and without him you would have either been relegated years ago or not even got promoted in the first place.

He’s far too good for Palace, which is why he wants out. Good luck to him, I say. I hope he realises his ambition in a couple of weeks.
