And we were playing Millwall with the attendence nearly 20k. Do you think there would of been more or less behaviour issues with fans than there were last night ?

In one aspect the Amex suffers because fans can really only go towards the coach/car park or the station whereas fans could disperse in a number of routes from the Goldstone.

It was a bit sad and dissapointing to see that Millwall seem intent on revelling in their image and what they still believe a day out at football should be and that is having a ruck with whoever. They weren't sticking up for themselves, they were activly looking to start things and there's little room for fans, who do not want to be involved in this (the vast majority) to get out of the way.

I met some decent Millwall fans before the game and I know other decent Millwall fans but, once in a match situ, their sizeable hoolie element take over. It's like many have never grown up as they stand there, legs astride, arms stretched wide and just looking silly.

I wouldn't blame the club if they reduced the allocation to those teams who cause trouble down here. I also reckon they should stop selling booze, maybe even all refreshments, to those visitors who do not respect the staff.

I think that in some ways the club are their own worst enemies in that when asked about segregation for fans leaving prior to the Palace game Richard Hebberd said that no extra measures would be taken for any club and that we were going to prove that it wasnt necessary to seperate fans. Perhaps they need to rethink their strategy

Naive, as proven. Nice idea, but 5% scum on both sides determined to cause trouble.

If we were still at the Goldstone they would have never brought two and a half thousand down whilst fourth from bottom. I think tuesdays effort was the most I can ever remember them bringing and that was to see the Amex.

The most curious thing..
It is difficult to estimate what the atmosphere would have been in the car parking area of a retail park. I don't think you could fit 20,000 people in it with all their cars.
