Maupay. I don't see Tau as a line-leading #9.

To quote the match day thread ' Neal Maupay has scored in three of his four league appearances against Leeds, all for Brentford in the Championship.'

Got to be Maupay, he's due a goal and so long as its not a penalty I'm feeling confident.......

Tau. Maupay's lost any touch he may have once had. A liability at penalties now, and a player high on confidence would have taken the option to lob the keeper v Man City instead of taking that touch too much. Tau is fresh and new and keen to impress. No-brainer. IMHO, like

Have we done any officially cringe Feed The Lion thing yet? Cos you just KNOW it's coming

You never know it may be a good thing? Imagine Tau scoring freely & having tremendous support behind him probably more than any Albion fan or player has experienced before.

I voted Tau out of the options available even though he plays wider.

I really hope we go with the fluid front three of Tau, Trossard and Mac Allister that played on Wednesday night.

Good call, but hope Trossard is nowhere near the starting 11.

Bench is fine for him.

Shame Andone isn’t available. Probably see red before half time, though, so probably not the best choice!

Maupay has to be the right answer, surely. I think Potter won’t see it that way, though.

They really hate Maupay up there. It’ll hurt if he scores. Sadly there is no crowd for him to wind up.

As far as ‘1 up front goes’. The question is more or less irrelevant as Potter likes false number 9s.

A more pertinent question would be; how many strikers will he start with? With only Maupay & Zeqiri available, I’d suggest it’s very unlikely we’d start with less than 1 or more than 1.
