IF we go down?

If we go down, what would you do with Poyet?

The arse end of Hangleton
Adams was sacked too early
Slade was sacked too early

Let's not make it a hatrick - give Gus as least 2 full seasons to build a team.

Are you not going to vote, despite starting the thread WW?

Nope.

For me, it would depend on the manner we went down.

Go down fighting, playing good football (as we are currently) then no point getting rid.

If we go down with a whimper though, then I'd get rid.

Hopefully he'll get us out of this mess though, but it's still all down to the home form.

I agree, but we are really going to have to splash proper cash on a number of decent players in the summer if we are to get even a sniff of promotion next season. It is NOT going to happen if we continue to rely on cast -offs and 'ones for tomorrow.'

I don't agree with alot of Poyet has done so far, but this is his team now and he needs the time to build it. Taking over midseason is never going to be easy and it's not fair to judge him until he's had preseason to do what he wants to, and to get the squad the way he wants it. He should have until the end of next season atleast so we can assess the job he has done/is doing.

Have you any evidence for this statement? Like you had "evidence" when you said Adams would turn it around. Let us be serious we cannot say we won't because we might. Blind faith does not count.

Yep

1) Last season everyone said we were doomed yet we survived

2) We are playing much better football now and look like we are more than capable of getting the points we need to survive.

3) Are we adrift from safety? - No, so why are people writing us off, why arn't they getting behind the team instead in a bid to help us to stay up. They got behind the team at the end of last season and looked what happened.

4) Early season we were losing heavily to teams like Huddersfield (7-1) Norwich (4-0) but now we are competative against the better sides Huddersfield (0-0 and unlucky not to win) Norwich (1-2 lead to the 80th minute against the league leaders and no one could say it was because we were lucky and it was undeserved that we were ahead) Lost 1-0 to Millwall only due to a defensive slip by Virgo - All three in the play off / auto promotion shake up.

and so on.....

Why start the poll and thread then?

Oh, and we won't be going down.

Thank god no decision will be down to you, the above comment is nothing more than sitting on the fence.
