See goals scored/against/difference for us in season 90/91

We got to the play off final

*THEREISHOPE*

Look at the for/against/difference column for 2001/2002 when we topped league 1:

For 66
Against 42
Difference +24 (lowest GD in the top 5)

I have a whole bunch of similar threads bookmarked to bump at the end of the season (was planning on just posting one post with links in it rather than flood the board with old threads). This was on my list.

I can understand bouncing threads if it was a case of excessive moaning, but in this case it seems a little harsh considering people were just saying what they thought based on the evidence up to that point. Plus, if people are just going to bounce every strong opinion when it turns out to be wrong it's just going to mean a decline in interesting opinion (no matter how wildyl incorrect it is!) on the board. I assume those planning to bounce threads have never made an incorrect prediction in football, and if so could you send me your betting tips each week?

Of course I have, and I take the banter that comes when I get it wrong. I've also posted opinions on things that are neither right or wrong, simply opinion and taken quite a bit of flack for it, and it doesn't stop me posting.

Though, for the record, most of what I have bookmarked are either the excessive "we need a 25 goal striker" threads of which there were many, and prediction threads that I'm planning on bouncing so that people can see how well they did rather than to mock anyone.

Wrong, this is a cracking bounce!

Always interesting to look back at some people's 'gospel' predictions.

Good bounce. I will happily take any flack directed my way. I didn't see Murray or Barnes getting enough to get us into the top 6 (and I've always been a big Murray fan). Very pleased to be proved wrong.
