Can’t help but feel it is now or never. No chance Liverpool and Chelsea will be as bad next season. Villa will spend big in the summer and now have a competent manager and then you have the current top 4.

Yes, totally. That doesn’t mean I would be upset at finishing 8th, but to finish lower than 7th from this position, playing as we are, would surely be disappointing - not in a ‘throw the toys out the pram’ way just a ‘missed opportunity' way. I was even disappointed with the midweek results as I'm still dreaming of a CL spot.

I bet RDZ would be ticking the top box…

No, important issue to me is improving:

First time positive goal difference, looks more than likely.

Improve points tally and position from last season, looks more than likely.

We’re heavily fancied by the bookies to finish top six....they’re very rarely wrong.

I'd be disappointed if we missed out primarily as getting some form of European football could help retain some of our key players

Yes it would be great I would rather watch late summer pre season games that mean something rather than dull friendly training exercises. Doubt we will get top four although why not for the Europa league two games in hand won so far 👍
Even if we get Europe you won’t be watching pre season games that mean anything. The earliest we will play a European game is late August if we end up in the Conference League. If we get Champions League or Europa League we go straight into the group stages which don’t start until September.

European football in whatever format would be great. Count me in, quite sure we will get there!

Slightly, not so much for not being in it but for a great season ending in a bit of a whimper (which it feels it would have to from here)

Not really that fussed……I assume it will not Be champions league, so when other clubs go into the other comps, there is always the “ we must concentrate on staying in the prem” so they put out teams like the f a cup!

if we struggle next year and have a euro campaign, would we be any different.

plus will miss a lot of September games due to holidays etc, which are more important the older you get.

I would be quite happy for us not to be in Europe as I don't think we have the depth of squad to carry it off. However, I am desperate for us to win the Fa Cup (which I think brings a European spot with it ?) - so Europe it is !

I’d be disappointed for the players and for you lot.

For me this is the greatest Albion season ever in every way, I’m happy with that.

Europe would be bonus, a landmark, I’m relaxed if it doesn’t come around this time.

My thought process doesn’t give rise to the recriminations and bitter disappointment you sometimes see. What will be.

I've kept my expectations quite low all season but I think I'd be a bit disappointed if we didn't manage 6th or 7th now as the team have performed so well and with Chelsea and Liverpool having such poor seasons it's probably the best chance we'd have for a while
