No need as Barnes will be firing them in.

However if Murray fails to sign a contract then he will be sold so perhaps we will need to buy another striker.

Can't see us being top 2 with our striking options.

It is not overly negative but facts. The last 2 games are not freaks. Don't take chances and teams will rob you.

We clearly don't score enough.

Chance of play offs yes but top 2 with Barnes and Sandaza = No

This is without the very good chance our goalscorer Lua Lua will go back in Jan as well

Can't see Lua Lua featuring at all for Newcastle, he is good at this level but would gash in the Premiersh1te.

I am questioning ever so slightly whether they are good enough to play together? It has to be either Murray/Barnes as they both miss more than they score and are quite similar.

We have the league one Berbatov (Murray), the league one Van Nistelrooy (Sandaza), and the League one Kevin Davies (Barnes). They are League One in the sense they don't score anywhere near enough. Once we sign the League One Defoe we'll be fine.

If we are top 2 in january, then we obviously don't need another striker.

;-)

Thus.

If the team is still playing so well together as a unit to stay in the apex of the league, then bringing someone else in is a dangerous move. It can pay off spectacularly sometimes, but it can also break the flow of an already working system. If we're built on unity, then we should stay as such.

We will blatantly go for a striker in January. the higher we are in the table the better it will be for convincing someone of quality to come here.

If we are in the top two I believe we will attract a striker and money will be less of an issue.

they should really find out if murrey wants to stay. id be gutted if he left. and also dicker must have a new contract asap as hes out of contract at end of season

Hopefully it is under discussion, didn't realise Dicker is also out of contract as would not like to see him go.

You are havin a larf surely?

Outplayed a stubborn and dirty Bournemouth team who were third in the league.

Playing quality football that would be at home in the upper echelons of the Championship.

Still improving in training.

We will be top two at Christmas and I fully expect Tony Bloom to dip yet again into his very generous pockets and buy us all Lua Lua plus a striker.

Top of the league and we know it!
