If we beat Woking, I hope we give them the away end, the family stand and block W - it is their cup final, afterall and it'll probably mean our biggest gate of the season.

Then we can thrash them and play a proper football club in round 3, or maybe Crystal Palace.

IF our reserves beat woking and IF our reserves bear FCUM and IF we get Palace in the 3rd round would everyone still be happy to play the ressies and keep the league as our top priority?

With Palace trying to avoid relegation they may play a reserve side as well - we could double up the fixture as a Football Combination game or whatever it is called these days. If we won we could then say we beat them twice in a season at home.

Give them the whole stadium. It's shit!

Agreed.

And anyhow, unless we split the FCUM fans, the only stands we can give them are the East Stand (1700?). One could argue to give them the West stand too, making 2500 in total.

We would 100% sell out the North and South to home fans alone, and to be honest, at a tenner a ticket, I think home fans could also fill the West Stand.

The North and South were full bar a hundred or so seats for the 1st round, against less interesting opposition.....

I think the sensible solution is to give them the East (T,U+W) and then make a decision to give them the West, if they sell the East, and if we dont think we will need it for our own fans.

I am 100% for having a ful Withdean, but not at the expense of home fans who want to watch the game.

4000 is not realistic...... The only stand that would do this is the South Stand, and I cant see South Stand STH's being happy to re-sited to say the West or the family stand!

I keep thinking it's a typo and someone is saying 'SCUM'
When we formed we wanted the name FC United, but the fa turned that idea down,as it was not for any particular area. we selected 4 names ,and the members voted for FCUoM,i was going to vote for *Manchester Central*,but the more i heard ref to FCUM ,I changed my mind, staff at the bbc in manchester have to refer to them as fc united or the full title.

About Manchester Central. This club was formed by fans of city and united in the late 1920s,as a protest against both clubs moving out of east manchester, they became quite successfull ,getting bigger gates then city and united (not bad for a non league team),when they got accepted in to division 3 both city and united objected to the promotion ,as this popular club would have affected the support and income.

I wish you all the best for this season ,and look forward to seeing your club move into the new stadium, it sure has been a long 14 years

This...All the Manure fans down here(so thats a large majority of their fanbase :lolol:) are jumping on the bandwagon.

We don't want to end up with playing matches in our last season behind closed doors when we're trying to get promoted!

First two lines:I don't see 'Manure' fans "jumping on the bandwagon" for this one, bearing in mind they have in excess of 2500 members who have in effect bought into the club of which well in excess of 1000 have season tickets so i'm sure the large majority of tickets will go to the 'right' people.

second two lines: what the f*** are you talking about?

.

If the club is letting FCUM supporters have all the good seats where will us 1901 club members sit?

Am I to understand that they will also be give preference above 1901 members for away tickets?

Whatever next? Will they be giving them priority to eat our quiche too?

The morons across our two counties that consider themselves 'Sussex Reds' aren't going to bother going along to watch FCUM I wouldn't have thought. They probably aren't even aware that Withdean, or the formative rounds of the FA Cup even exist.

FCUK...or whatever they are called, might take 3,500 to Rochdale on a Friday night but there is no way I can see them bringing anywhere near that number to Brighton...so all this talk about giving them vast chunks of the ground are probably irrellevant...let them have the Hove end and be done.

Now you're just being silly :lolol:

What WOULD be funny is to let them have the whole North Stand and let them that's moved be put into the Ruffians South Stand - then we could all have a good old chat about the 1901 Club

lol!!!:clap2: my mate has bought an exutive box! £25000 a year, he asked me if i wanted to pay a tenth share and go, i said no going with the hardcore behind the goal!!! seagulls!!

Well said Gus. Isnt it great to have a manager with a brain. Just a shame that he cant run our ticket office as well, as it would have stopped the debacle of an 18000 crowd at Charlton despite Charlton holding 28000. the idiots that limited that to a 3200 brighton members only game need to listen to the genius that is Gus.

We've always had Manchester fans sitting in amongst Brighton ones when we play them anyway. Do they have a fanbase down here like their big brother club? :lolol:

Red are here Reds are there..... plenty of Sussex based non-bandwagon jumping FCUM fans down. Please beat Woking, I've been waiting 11 years for a decent atmosphere at the Withdean
