As did I. Yes, I protested, marched, boycotted, etc when required, but the bottom line is I still went to (most of) the games to support the team. Consequently I've answered 'Other' because there are many other factors that would come into play. I hope I never have to make the decision.I don't honestly know.
Plenty of people went to watch the Albion (including me) when Archer was in charge , maybe not blood money but someone who just wanted to rip the club off. so to some or even many he was even worse.
I follow the club and that as an entity is distinct to players, manager or board.
Substitute Worthing for Peacehaven (although Worthing are a team I’ve seen a few times over the years) and this is exactly me.If we were bought by the Saudis or Qataris I'd be off like a shot, probably to watch Worthing. Not opposed to the US per se for idealogical reason but I'd be highly suspicious of any US owner given their complete lack of understanding of our game. I'd stick around and judge them on their merits.
I think conflating being taken over by a petrostate with a (presumably) horrendous human rights record and being taken over by a (presumably) clueless US investor isn't really fair. They are totally not the same thing. And while most Middle Eastern petrostates have poor human rights records, it's not a given that a US investor has to be clueless or bad.
