I don't believe it would ever happen under Bloom so it's a moot point really. If it did i would immediately lose respect for him and that would be me done with football full stop. Thankfully I believe Bloom will be here for years and pass it on to his kids

Hard to choose any of those options. I'd still support the club and go to the odd game when in the country (assuming could still get tickets) but would likely step up my support of Hastings as a local side which right now is much below the levels for B&HA.

If lived back in Sussex I expect instead of jumping on the season ticket waiting list again, I'd be more content to stay away and just take in the odd game live with friends. Buy less branded gear, maybe yeah but no complete boycot or anything like that.

It’s a much easier question to answer with certainty when it’s hypothetical.

I hate so much about the forthcoming World Cup in Qatar and don’t intend to engage with it at all. When it comes to it and the invites to watch matches with friends are there, will I stick to my principles and miss out on the social interaction? Will I leave a pub if it comes on? Will it make a difference if I turn my back to the screen, but stay? I honestly don’t know.

That’s just for an international tournament - the emotional tie with the England team is far far less than for the Albion, which is more entwined with day to day life and friendships…

I really dislike where the game has gone in the last decade or two, with all the money, dodgy owners and rampant commercialisation, so on balance I reckon I’d sadly walk away.

+1 through the turnstiles even more regularly at the Dripping Pan.

Really? Let's say the poll is representative of the base of STH. That's about 7k people walking away and the waiting list dropping by 1/3. That's quite a substantial hole that we don't currently have the capability of filling and no real reason to believe that would change.

I don't know much about it but looking on the net it does seem like they sold both pretty quickly, but I don't remember any outrage when they poured money into them. You are right in that they were reported (from what I can see on the net) as less than 1% but that was my question to him, if Tony sold a minority stake to them where Tony keeps full control then would people be outraged.

Sadly, a quick browse on the Newcastle online forum suggests that, to a man, the Geordies are absolutely lapping it up. Didn't see one post of discontent, let alone thread. Absolutely astonishing, really. Completely sold their sole at the drop of a hat, the lot of them.

I can't get my head around the way Newcastle fans have reacted. Not at all. How can an entire community be so lacking in principles, morality and ethics? It's just beyond belief.

I would walk away immediately if this happened at the Albion. I would not return, and I would be wanting the club to fail.

What has happened at Newcastle is already making me further question whether I want to continue to be invested in the PL, but the Albion continue to make me proud, with the way the club is run, and the attitudes of the majority of fans on here. So, for now, I'll keep going.

I’d stop supporting the club. You can’t stop them trading public entities, where as our board would have to sell or generate shares to take Saudi investment. Big difference

Why would stop supporting the club be the better option? I don't get it my support for the club is unconditional, its not about who owns it or where the money comes from, its about how it makes me feel. There is a lot of evil in the world, and no doubt those Saudis are not above it but thats a different battle in a different arena. There is too many battles to put them all in one big moral field.
