IF Slade does go - do you really think it'll have a positive effect?

All hypothetical, but if some of you doubting naive ignorants get your way and Slade is sacked... can you honestly say it'll be good for Brighton?

Yet another new manager with players he wouldn't necessarily have chosen?

More turbulence in terms of coaching, youth systems and everything else...

Personally it sounds awful to me! No logic in it at all i would say...

Don't you see that by starting a thread of this nature, you're contributing to what you're clearly against:dunce:

NSC doesn't really have any significant impact on whether a manager gets the sack.

A manager will be fired or have his contract re-newed, on results mainly....(unless your name is Wilkins and the Chairman is DK). That's the way it should be.....and invariably is.

However, a football forum gives the "everyday" fan a chance to air his opinions............and there's nothing wrong in that.

I admit, I have been really frustrated by the start of the season to the point it has made me question my love of the game, should I have bought season tickets again for myself and my son? But in the cold light of day and the fact we didn't lose 4-0 at Millwall, I have calmed down enough to be realistic that sacking Slade now would do us no good at all.

I really can't think of another manager we could realistically attract that I would say would be better than Slade at the moment. Give him until Xmas at least.

If we finish anywhere between 7th & 12th or thereabouts, I would accept that, with a view to pushing on next season.

The truth is that when slade is sacked, as all managers are eventually, the usual "we deserve the best manager in the world" bha fans will be talking of names that wouldn't come within a mile of brighton.

Think, that's why slade was appointed in the first place, probably the highest profile applicant.

brighton fans are so appathetic, think:

Crowds of 5,500 roughly, not filling an 8000 ish venure, yet hoping to move into a 22000 ish stadium.
Bottom of the league, realistically.
An average crowd lower than Oxford in the conference.

Where are all of the missing fans that should be behind the team when they are needed most.

Is this the mighty brighton, who aspire to the Championship.

If slade doesn't get things right soon, then Div 2 and another Darlington is looming.
