Who can say? - in the crazy world of football where money and expediency are everything, anything can happen. But, in the unlikely event that I had any say in the matter, NO

He said in an interview he would leave Sunderland if the players stopped trying.

They ran their arses off for him last night v West Ham.

So he's going no where.

Unless Tottenham come calling of course. Then Sunderland would have "hit the ceiling".

I can't believe the OP would even ask the question. Why would we think he'd give a shit about this club ever again under any circumstances ever?

I can. Return of the rev is one of the biggest wind up merchants on this site and he always gets bites.

No.
Be like jumping in to bed with your ex girlfriend. All will be good for a few weeks and then it dawns on you why you dumped her in the first place and all the annoying habits are still there.
Always better to leave the ex in the past.

I think he will leave all teams he coaches the same way he did us and leave a trail of havoc and distrust.
Not an honorable man and sees no need to be.

I think that Gus will rack up many clubs in his managerial career, both in England and on the continent. I doubt he will ever get his dream Chelsea/Spurs ticket. His only career constant will be his TV punditry.
