I remember reading something about how the new stadium has gone from being a massive cash cow to a money pit. Costs have risen and Levy's not best pleased, the knock on is that Poch might now be working under restricted activity in the transfer market as opposed to what was thought at the outset.

Indeed. Its gone from £400m to £750m, and is now estimated at coming in at £1bn. Absolutely bonkers money

Considering Wembley cost £757m to rebuild, and 11 years later the FA are STILL paying it off, this Spurs stadium looks like being a maHOOsive financial millstone around the clubs neck. Unless Spurs get some Arab investment and start sheikhing it all about, it could be quite some time before they're able to compete financially in the transfer market, certainly not without selling the crown jewels.

No wonder MP is getting the willies now.

Not quite

In his post match, Carlos Carvalhal, blamed the lack of points gained by the previous manager, even when asked about Swansea's 3 points from the last 9 games.

Gotta hand it to him for that brazen display.

Amazing. If the previous manager had got more points ... Carlos wouldn't have a bloody job :lolol:.

To be fair to Carvalhal, he got 20 points in 18 games. He may well feel justified in suggesting that average that out for a season and they'd have finished on 42 (which as we know is the answer to the universe).
