If only Slade had been appointed earlier

First half today was the best I've seen Albion play for a while. We deserved all three points.

I believe Slade is beginning to get the best out of his players and sensing strengths and weaknesses. Given more time I believe he could have kept us up. As it is our chances of avoiding the drop are very very slim.

Only 12 points off playoffs now paddy. Good result at hereford

Our manager looks as if he could improve things, given the time and cash to bring in his own players, unfortunately he will not have either.

If only Adams was sacked in November when we could have saved the season... but NOOOO lets give him 10 too many chances and get ourselves relegated at the same time, i blame knight entirely for the mess we are in this season if knight had done the smart thing sacked adams in novmeber, let slade or whoever rebuild in jan we'd be in the top half of the table now

Adams should have gone on Boxing Day

Spot on, but unfortunately when you give 'jobs to the boys' it difficult to sack your mates and thats why we will get relegated. The clubs been appallingly run this year (however you spin it), fair play the new stadiums been started but at what cost?

We should not in a million years be anywhere near getting relegated to div 4 with the money we have spent, its a bloody disgrace.

Getting rid of Adams earlier wouldn't have got Slade earlier. 'cos if he had gone, say, between September and December, which he should have, Slade would have still been at Yeovil....

True, but we could have got Danny Wilson in December when Adams should have gone, who would have been just as good an appointment.

Does anyone remember when Adams laughed at the suggestion we were in a relegation battle. When was that exactly?
