I'm Southgate IN, but I'm not going to blow smoke up the guys arse.
In both the last World Cup and this Championship, we had the easy side of the draws (Germany aside).
That said, it is massive progress. The way he has pulled the team together is brilliant. Perhaps I'd like a more tactically intelligent voice in his ear on the backroom staff. I'm not going to throw stones (no pun intended) at the work he's done.
Can't think of any alternative I'd want. Mancini maybe?
