Barnsley had 48 points you had 56

We had 66

but dont let facts get in the way or anything

Why does it matter where Barnsley finished? We finished 16 points away from the bottom 3. That's what matters. We were closer to you than to the bottom 3, by some distance.

Errr... what?

We were closer to you by some distance than to going down. That's it. It's not up for debate.

Not on points, which is how the table is decided. CLEARLY, 16 points from the bottom three makes us closer to you than to the bottom.

Do you try to be a thick or is it something you've inherited?

In what universe is 17th place further away from 21st than 10th?

To be fair they only finished 10 POINTS below us so for them it was a successful season.

Gardner has a full England cap, and played a lot of games in the Premiership. Based on ability he's probably the best in the division, but I don't think he's resigning with us - he's too old and far too injury prone.

Palace wanted to keep him but he chose not to stay.

So you've now lost the best right back and centre back in division (your words), but your squad is getting stronger? Are Ward and Martin now the best in the division too?

Excuse me? That was the first time you finished above us for about 30 years, wasn't it?

Our squad as a whole is getting stronger, not necessarily our defense. We have a good right back now in Joel Ward, although not as good as Clyne. However, we've made about £2m from that deal, so there's more money to add to the budget to spend on the squad elsewhere.

Got it?

On POINTS. i.e games won, drawn or lost. Where it matters.

SIXTEEN points away from the bottom three. TEN points away from 10th place. Obviously we're closer to tenth than 21st?

I can do some maths for you if you'd like?

Why do we still entertain this Glenn-Murray chap? He has clearly demonstrated that he has absolutely no grasp of reality. His delusional ranting ceased being entertaining months ago. Infact, I'd say it is now so pathetic as being beyond pity, its actually bordering infuriating how someone could be quite so stupid.

It seems each time Brighton fans on a Brighton forum wish to discuss potential signings there are always palace fans going on about their own precious darlings and how they are so superior. I find this behavior odd and a little worrying.

Is there a set amount of points required for promotion or relegation now?

Thought not, its decided on table position - a concept used all around the world in every football league, now a palace mug is deciding the table isn't relevant. Priceless

Do we need to post a picture of your half empty 1950s ground and one of our space age stadium crammed to the rafters with fans?

These things change. Whether our new stadium is a redeveloped Selhurst or in Crystal Palace park, I'm sure it'll be great.

If circumstances were permanent, we'd be playing in front of 25000 at Selhurst in the Premiership while you were playing in front of 5000 fans at the Withdean.
