Of course you have to consider the wife…and all the baggage and circus she brings with her.Top quality striker.
Who cares about who his wife is. Just don't read tabloids if it upsets you.
What a career he has had

Her court case made the broadsheets and tv outlets like the BBC. It even made the press here. There’s no escaping her!If you avoid the tabloids, you never get to hear about her.

You literally hear about her at every Leicester gameIf you avoid the tabloids, you never get to hear about her.
once a year then? You literally hear about her at every Leicester game
I remember Dunk naming him as one of the hardest strikers to play against ..if I recall correctly “he’s so pesky”4 years older than Welbeck and turning 38 next month, Vardy's still a top finisher, a natural predator who can change a game's trajectory in a single moment.
Artists' intelligence are found in their brushstrokes, musicians their lyrics and sounds, footballers their foot-eye coordination.
On the field in his workplace and field of expertise, he's so smart in reading the game and finding space, even as Old Father Time threatens his pace.
He's shown that it's still possible to come through despite being rejected at 16 by the club he supports - Sheffield Wednesday. (Massive mistake.)
6 goals already this season, he'll end up comfortably with double figures, as he's done in 7 of the 8 previous EPL seasons. The effort's still there.
Admittedly he's had a few off-field problems of his own in the past without needing to reference his wife here. He's always had an edge to him.
But even with all that, he's easily been much more of an asset than a liability. The kind of rough diamond that home fans will take to their hearts.
He'd never come, we don't need him and it doesn't fit the Albion model, but quality should always be recognised regardless of tribalism or snobbery.
I have standards, and a bloke who drinks 3 cans of Red Bull for breakfast and looks like steptoe with a Gypsy haircut falls below them. He'd never come, we don't need him and it doesn't fit the Albion model, but quality should always be recognised regardless of tribalism or snobbery.
Quite a different character to Welbeck, Milner, Veltman, or Dunk, but someone I'm certain Facu is learning lots from!Watching a 38 year old Vardy chase lost causes yesterday shows he is up for the fight. Made the most of his talent and career.
I wouldn't want a pint with him but I reckon he grounds some of the characters in the Leicester dressing room where it's been too easy for them.
Err, twice a season assuming they stay up - it's not the Leicester fans who sing "your wife is a grass" is it?once a year then?

For the best reallyI dont go to Leicester away
I don't think Vardy is universally "hated" anywhere near as much as you're suggesting. He’s one of those players where if he’s one of yours you love him because he’s winding up opposition and fans, and doing whatever he can to give himself/his team an advantage, but everyone else hates him. Like Maupay and to a lesser extent Veltman.
Hypothetically, obviously, if he did the business I’d have no problems.
