Trust for what ? Potter moved on for better money like most would do and Bloom was paid well. Nothing to do with trust. That's life
Bloom was only paid ā€œwellā€ as compensation. It wasnā€™t a negotiated deal with Bloom having an input or element of control.
How could Bloom TRUST Potter not to repeat his antics? Remember, he walked and took the majority of the coaching team with him, all within a few days. I doubt Bloom would want to trust someone for a second time who had plotted with a competitor behind Bloomā€™s back.

Iā€™ll trust Bloom but itā€™ll be a hell of a surprise if he goes for Potter.

They say never go back and for good reason. He jumped ship once, he will do it again. I doubt with the compo money from Chelsea, tucked away in the bank, his motivation is what it once was. He will know the midfield duo he had is pretty much irreplaceable. The fans will be on his back from the get go. The players would be very underwhelmed etc etc etc......there's a million reasons why bringing Potter back, would be a terrible idea.

Agree, and yet he admits his poor judgement on not understanding the capability of Moises.
His ability to coach Chelsea into not scoring was sensational.

My thoughts have softenedā€¦

If GPott was to return and the press release photo was of him holding the most handsome looking ADIDAS produced shirt for 24/25 then I might just about accept it.

I would feel that at least some form of progress has been madeā€¦

I'd have far, far less respect for Brian Owen (and the Argus) if they started printing mindless gossip and click bait tittle-tattle. They are a newspaper, FFS.
Agreed and donā€™t sign up to the club gagging the Argus. Iā€™m no longer an Argus reader but presume there have been no ā€œArgus Exclusivesā€ such as an interview with RDZ or one of his team, a player, or an associate, or, orā€¦.. all part of the compromise agreement I suppose.

Another Ā£20 million reasons?

Itā€™s not about gambling on trust,
If and thatā€™s a big if, he did come back I donā€™t think for a second a rather aggressive (in the clubs favour) compensation clause would be inserted.

If he did leave again we would get significantly more than heā€™s worth a second time

Will you be doing that before or after throwing your season ticket on the pitch?
I remember when @Bwian sent his season ticket back to the club. Later he asked for it back. And they let him have it.

And not in the Derek Bentley sense.

As long as Swansman doesnā€™t come back with him I think Iā€™ll be able to cope with itā€¦
I had no problem with swansman, would happily converse with him. As to Potter, I think he is an excellent coach, let's face it the reason most of us (not including the Potter haters) were so gutted and pissed when he left wasn't that he was shite at his job, had he been we would have been laughing at Chelsea and thanking them. So in the role of coach, I would welcome him back. As to his role as a backstabbing snake, I can only hope that TB will put something in his contract that makes breaking it like he did extremely expensive (way more than 25m) either for him or the club that is willing to pick up his tab.

I feel like it is going to happen.
It really isn't.

The best thing for folks to do is look forward to the Euros, the T20 World Cup, summer things and forget about every work of fiction they see in the press

It is what it is.

Why does it 'seem increasingly possible'? There will be people who are betting on him just from reading the comments on NSC. If you know something, some insider knowledge, then please share.

The best way to think of this is youā€™ve been in a relationship with this very boring and average looking geography teacher. Sheā€™s got a bit big for her boots and left you for some flashy American banker who spends time in London. Youā€™re stuck paying the rent and the dogs have gone with her.

Youā€™re mortified, but on a drunken night out you meet this fiery Italian in the pub opposite Donatelloā€™s. All of a sudden youā€™ve forgotten about the teacher because this lovely Italian lady is doing things you never believed possible. You think itā€™s love at first sight as she talks about the beautiful Italian fixed priced meal she just finished for less than ten pounds.

Things are amazing but they wonā€™t commit. She starts talking about your manhood not being enough. Ironically you find texts from a rich dwarf up in Manchester whoā€™s trying to get her to move north. The photos indicate an inch at the most.

You think how can this be happening again? Then out of the blue you hear from the ex. She never moved to London because she loved Brighton so much and couldnā€™t leave the city she met you in. The relationship with the yank was toxic.

Things are different. Sheā€™s had a proper glow up and appreciates you now. Youā€™ve even got a promise sheā€™ll let you do some of the back door attacking stuff the Italian let you do.

No interpreter required. Proper West Midlands English back in your life.

You do know why Swansman was banned?
