Interesting thought. With the vast spectrum of talent on here....I have a feeling we could find four reluctant volunteers who could wipe the floor with the spotty youth of the University of Central England (formerly known as Northampton Polytechnic), and so on.

Do we have any programme commissioners on here? ???

(with apologies, I'm still feeling a bit giddy about how f***ing brilliant the Albion are, right now. The world is our lobster, and that.)

Bamber Gascoigne ate my gerbil.

HWT, I suspect we are of similar age and remember "Quiz Ball", a general knowledge quiz between football teams with right answers earning movements toward a goal. David Vine was the quizmaster I think and I recall that Scottish teams contained the best quizzers

One pretty frequent poster on NSC appeared on UC for real. I’m guessing he might make our embryonic team.

I think over the years the specialist subjects would be covered aptly by the following BHA themed team:
Bloom: mathematics
Hypia : Abstract art
Maupay: Philosophy
Potter: History

I thought Barry Davies was the quizmaster. They did a home international version once and Willie Irvine was on the NI team. Having a Brighton player on telly was pretty mind-blowing in those days.
