...will they finish above us?

Cardiff's Fixtures
21/4 Liverpool (h)
27/4 Fulham (a)
4/5 Crystal Palace (h)
12/5 Manchester United (a)

Our Fixtures
20/4 Wolves (a)
23/4 Spurs (a)
27/4 Newcastle (h)
4/5 Arsenal (a)
12/5 Manchester City (h)

I'll be genuinely bricking it if they do manage to beat us. As I wrote earlier in the week, Warnock will be thinking that if they can beat us, they'll fancy their chances of 4/6 points from the Fulham and Palace fixtures, which would really put the pressure on us.

Cardiff play before us on the 27th which could make for a testing late kick-off for us against a Newcastle side that seem to be in decent form and who will be able to play with the freedom of being safe.

Can you see Palace rolling over to send us down? Me too.

On our current form we’d not stand a hope in hell in winning any of those games. Cardiff are playing ok and have two winnable games.

If we stay up on 33 points I think it will be the lowest ever

For me, even a draw on Tuesday night could spell disaster. Cardiff are capable of beating Fulham and Palace, I don’t see us getting anything from the remaining fixtures. How did it come to this.

Just had to explain to Jnr we're as good as relegated if we lose on Tuesday.

"But we'll win v Newcastle".
"What makes you say that?".
" Newcastle are rubbish".

"Sit down son, there's something I need to tell you".

Cardiff will get a maximum of 6 points after our game with them. I suspect we will get a point or two from ours. Common sense suggests that if we avoid defeat against Cardiff we will stay up. If we lose we have a 50% chance

I think thats the harder question to answer...lose and our almost zilch confidence will be completely shot and most people would say down (as per poll) ...draw...and their remains some hope of staying up

These aren't the players you're looking for.

31 points was the lowest total needed for survival, but West ham managed 35 that season.

3 Points against Cardiff
1 Point against Wolves
3 Points against Newcastle

There's our 40 points

It's probably something for another thread, but with their style of play, Wolves could really stick the boot into us next weekend.

If they defend like they did yesterday, even we'd have a chance of scoring. Obviously we'd have to to manage a shot on target first.
