There is no other team.

I don't get all this two teams bullshit. If you support a premiershite team but find it easier to support Brighton because you're local then what's the point in the Premier team?

Brighton are my club and will be til I die, no matter what.

You can't just switch allegiance to another team. If the worst came to the worst I'd just follow another sport like Rugby or Cricket more passionately.

Alternatively I'd just keep up with very local football like Lewes for instance, regardless of their little status.

But ultimately if the club was forced to fold I think a la Wimbledon we'd find a new non-league version of Albion to keep the spirit alive, and that is where my attention would turn to.
Word.

New names for the new Brighton team...

AFC Brighton and Hove?
Brighton and Hove United?
Brighton Albion?

Independence for Hove! Brighton can form their own team, we'll play at the Hove Rec.

Hove FC will never be defeated. :jester: :jester:

Lewes I reckon, I'm going to watch them play Redbridge this Saturday cos I can't make Stoke (don't want any withdrawrawl (sp?) symptoms)

And of course, Chelsea

Don't see the problem in having two teams, but if the two were to meet in a cup game or something, it would be the brighton end that I would be sitting in :)

No other English team, anyway.

I'd probably continue half-arsedly supporting Finn Harps, possible convert it into actually supporting them

I could never get as excited or emotional watching any other club than the Albion.

Assuming there was no new incarnation of the Seagulls...

probably Worthing, although it would never be the same feeling as for Brighton.

Locally Lewes FC/Nationally always had a soft spot for Man City.
or how about being an Anti Palace fan. You go to all their away games and support the home team.

Long term though AFC Brighton, we could start playing at the Pan, that would wind up LDC.
