I've recently resigned from work to set up my own business in South London. It is basically similar to short term car rental where members can rent a car for 30 minutes to 3 days. The cars are dotted around Clapham, Battersea and Balham and we are targeting anyone without a car or those who sometimes need a second car.

If you know anyone who may be interested in joining up, please can you forward the website address to them? Our marketing budget is pretty much non-existent so any help you guys could give would be really appreciated.

To be honest Brixtaan, no...

If you are looking to book a car for 2-3 days and you can book 2 weeks in advance, it's unlikely we will be able to compete on price (generally we charge £49.50 per day). With the service, we are trying to be a genuine alternative to owning a car - where you can book over the phone or internet and 5 minutes later, you can walk down the road and pick up the car - with no paperwork or hassle...

If you ever need a car for less than a day or at short notice, we may be a good alternative for you. We have 2 cars based at Clapham North - not sure exactly where you are in Brixton though

Very brave Bald Gull, very brave indeed. I live in the Blaham area and have no car so this could in fact be a very good solution for me. Will look at your website and will pass it on to friends who might be interested. Hope you have put Albion stickers on all the cars in your fleet. Think that would be a nice touch...

I have a couple of friends who might be interested in joining but one lives in Earlsfield and the other in Pimlico - is it worth it for them to join if the cars are located around the Clapham area? Also how much are the joinging fees and if I don't have any car insurance will I be properly insured?

They can still join. We've got 3 cars based at Clapham Junction station and others around Clapham North and Clapham South Tube Stations so, for your mates, it's just a short train journey away.

The joining fees are £25 for lifetime membership (special offer for April and May) and there is a £100 returnable deposit.
All members have fully comprehensive insurance when driving the cars...

The best cars for you would be the 2 we have parked 200 yards from Clapham South Tube (on Nightingale Lane). We also have another 2 near to Clapham Common Tube (Hannington Road).

I note you have ruled out Palace fans as potential customers, which I believe is a splendid idea. I have noticed in your historical posts that you also have very strong homophobic views. Would this prevent me from hiring one of your vehicles?

Of course I would ensure the vehicle was returned and free from any stains on the upholstery.
