What ever happened to "sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me" we were taught as kids.

Todays society really has its priorities all warped.

You can king hit a person in the street and knock them out and there might be a small article about it somewhere yet you call someone an offensive name and it'll be front page news.

I mean really come on, what's worse a stupid name or an action that could kill you?

I think English Common Law says that you are entitled to be faced by your accuser, so that if a disciplinay hearing is convened, H and H should be able to know who their accusers are. The Beeb is not the Star Chamber.
A good lawyer should be able to earn his salt here.

LOL....I seem to remember you having a right go at Harty after he said it.................

Yes I did, rightly so I think. I then thought 'fair play to him' for apologising for what he said.

That doesn't mean to say I am leading (or joining in) a campaign to have a couple of men SACKED for a heat of the moment comment that both of them deeply regret. It is unbelievable that this has dragged on so far.

Can you explain to me why you offended> have you heard the term before?

Also can you give me an example of where they have crossed the line before.

Do you boycott Little Britain, The Office, Extras etc?

Have you ever been to the planet Earth?

If I was to tie you down and shit on your face you'd probably be offended by that. But some people (not me I should add!) quite like that kind of thing.

The point is that different people are offended by different things, and this is something that should be respected.

Please do not refer to NSC members within threads, everyone knows what Nibble does on a Thursday night, and you are clearly implicating him by referring to the above event, for which I believe the correct term is a Woodingdean Pizza

It is a persons god given right to make a complaint. I just wish they would complain about things worthwhile complaining about. What a WASTE OF f***ing TIME.... thank you...

Im surprised people are blaming 'the current climate' for this, very short memories. If anything broadcasters get away with more.
