It's hardly delusional... It would be delusional if we started planning travel to wembley at the start of the season. We are potentially 90 minutes away from wembley, and the game is in two weeks, I think you can forgive people for planning ahead.

I think the OP is right though. There was very much a congratulatory feel about some posts on here as there was at Selhurst on Friday when people were singing "We're going to Wembley" after the match. It is far from over.

I really don't know what to think. If I'd been offered a 0-0 before the game on Friday, I would have been delighted but now I'm really nervous about where it stands. It could be the best night in years or the worst but either way I doubt it will be comfortable and we will be on the edge of our seats until the final whistle.

Whoever wins, I think Watford are favourites for the final but it should be a great game and a final could go either way.

Sorry, I know that sounds negative but come 7:45 tomorrow I will be right behind the team as we hopefully get to Wembley!

Of course no-one knows what will actually happen tomorrow night. But I guarantee you that everyone studying form and the players available for tomorrow will say, at this moment, that Albion SHOULD win.

I'd much have it this way than be in Palace's shoes.

I was in my local William Hill yesterday and there was a guy in there who was saying Brighton were already in the final, it was just a case of who they would play! The last time I heard someone talking so brash was when I was at school and his team got knocked out of the FA Cup next match.

I've lost count of the number of times football has kicked me and nearly everyone in the balls through over-confidence. Palarse have far less pressure on them tomorrow night.

The fans are over confident, for sure, but I really cannot see how that makes the slightest difference. We have to have belief in the team.

This is not the team of the 3-1 defeat, there are way more experienced players, and I can see a very professional performance tomorrow.

No guarantees, but there is plenty of time to experience the despair after a loss, why not have faith and be positive about this awesome side - the best I remember in fact - that Gus has assembled ?

My dejection will be complete and utter if we lose tomorrow. I'm not going to go there yet.

I don't think you do know why it was sung. It was not appropriate on Friday night to sing at Selhurst " Hopefully, maybe, possibly and with a bit of luck we will beat you lovely Palace fans and go to Wembley although our teams are evenly matched" It was sung spontaneously and gave us a lot of fun!
