Legges Eleven in the Valiant comic in the 60's, wore a strip like that.

They had a great goalie but he was badly colour blind, so the zig zag stripes enabled him to tell the difference between the teams. Strange thing to remember, but you know ... :cool:

Would love to see a ‘different’ take on stripes, that isn’t it.

Invariably, whenever anyone tries a 'different' take on STRIPES, it end up looking shit.

The stripes that fade into a solid colour at the top (or bottom)? Shit.

Stripes of irregular thickness? Shit.

Really, really, really thin stripes, that don't look like stripes at all? Shit.

Stripes so thick that you can only fit two on the shirt, and look like Wigan? Shit.

Worst of all - the Huddersfield abomination, of two years ago - utter, utter shit.

I like it but I think that's because of the black. I'm not sure that blue and white zig-zags would look so effective
