whizz a couple of garlic cloves and about an inch of ginger into a paste. Put this in a bowl with two tablespoons of dark soy, two tbs of mirin(sp) or dry sherry and two tbs of lemon juice.

Marinade the salmon fillets in your home made terryaki sauce for a couple of hours. luvly jubbly

The missus tried the recipe off the Philadelphia advert the other day. It was lovely, quick and easy to boot.

Put Salmon on oven tray,
put philly over Salmon,
Cover with breadcrumbs.
Chuck in oven until cooked.

Philadelphia Salmon, done.

Heat oven

whizz a hunk of break, the same amount (roughly) of pistachios, some grated cheese (ideally gruyere, but whatever) and some nutmeg in a mixer.

Oil a baking tray, put salmon fillets on tray, cover in pistachio/bread/etc mix. Cover with foil.

Cook for something like 15 mins, then 10 mins with the foil off.

Serve with salad or green veg.

Dead easy, but convinces people you are some kind of masterchef.

Feed them to your cat. If you don't have a cat then get one.

Then buy Quorn.

I ate the cat last week.

Not sure I'd like Quorn, but thanks anyway!

Put small knob of butter in frying-pan. Place on medium heat. Fry salmon gently for about a minute. Add fried egg to pan. Fry egg til cooked. Remove salmon from pan and discard. Serve runny egg with chips.

Marinade in large helpings of fresh lemon juice with chopped garlic and black pepper. Wrap in foil but not tightly and cook in oven for about 10 minutes. Noting spectacular but fish will retain its moisture and it does taste lovely.

I do same sometimes but use wine instead of lemon juice and chuck in a bay leaf for good measure

Simply put the fillets in kitchen foil, add chopped mushrooms and sliced tomatoes,a good smearing of butter.Season with pepper,a sprinkling of lemon juice.Put in your oven on about 190/200.Takes 25 - 30 mins.

In the meantime, chop some fennel and cook to soften(I do it in a micro for c10mins on max power) Cover with grated cheese and brown under the grill.

The salmon is good placed on a bed of rice and drizzled with extra virgin(there,I've said it!) olive oil.

Plate it up with the fennel...........and don't forget your half a lemon to squeeze on the fish.

This is also good with fried mashed spuds if you don't like rice.

Not sure if it works at all with quorn.
