Albion have delayed Kerry Mayo's testimonial match until they can secure high profile opposition for the long-serving defender.
The Seagulls' last pre-season friendly before the League One campaign gets under way on August 5 is now expected to be a visit by QPR on Monday July 31.
Places are still available for the penultimate event of Mayo's testimonial year, a Grand Summer Ball, at the Metropole Hotel on Brighton seafront on Saturday July 15 from 7pm.
Tickets for the black tie and evening dress function are £60 each, including a four-course meal and entertainment.
Group bookings can also be made for five, six, ten or 12 people. For more information email kerrymayotc@gmail.com or call Clare on 07879 471043.
