The Amex really is an amazing looking stadium under the lights. I remember thinking that 100 million was such a huge amount of money for a club playing in the third tier but look at us now. You could argue that we underestimated our potential when we planned for a max of 32k

There's a thread on here from the time the Amex was under construction where people were talking about our potential averages. Makes very interesting reading now we're on our 7th consecutive season of 30k plus crowds. It's safe to say the majority had very different expectations.
