The only iconic moment yesterday was in the 1st half when I threw the match ball back on the pitch

After many viewings I’m still not convinced it was a foul by Dunk, absolutely minimal contact on Dennis.

I think the only reason people don't think Moss had a bad game is because he didn't make any absolute howlers, but he was shit as ever. If you can't keep up with play, you shouldn't be a referee.

One that pissed me off the most was midway through the second half when a ball struck a Watford hand when their arm was out, he said it was ball to hand, then the exact same thing happened in the same passage of play but it was one of our players (Veltman I think) and he gave a free kick. He is so far away from play that it's clearly guesswork for the most part.

Fair points. I think I was maybe just relieved that we didn't have anyone sent off and there were no annoying VAR moments. But in saying that at no
point did I start ranting at Moss, so maybe I'm conning myself here.

Iconic moment yesterday.. hmm: no.

If, in ten years, we look back at this game for some really weird reason, I imagine we'll have vague memories of Neal Maupay scoring an interesting goal. Other than that it was not really a game for the history books.

I do agree, but if you are there I think good away days like yesterday, tend to stick in the mind….

Now that's iconic:

And, iconic isn't always good.

If that was an iconic moment then, by the OP's measure, he probably has a number of iconic moments in his/her life every day!!

Clearly you are not as impressed by the heroic gallop back from the halfway line at breakneck speed to make up the 10 yard gap. If you were a Manure fan and saw one of theirs do it (which you wouldn't this season) you would be on your feet cheering their name for 10 minutes.

The Fart some bloke did a few rows back from me was more iconic than that.

What a bloody odd moment to label iconic.

Lampety hacked down all game only two yellows should of been four at least one of the worst refs in league

I'm thinking that TL has a touch of the Harry Kane about him, in the way he uses his body, by backing into the opposing player and winning a free kick.

There is a massive difference about being impressed and something being iconic. I believe you are in a minority of one by describing it as iconic!!

You should watch and marvel as he strained every sinew, arms and legs pumping like pistons, to make up the ground and make the tackle (marginal foul). It was truly an iconic moment from our captain.
