Electric Avenue in Brixton is an obvious one. I’m sure in my 40 plus years of following music I have visited other locations associated with bands but cannot think of any right now.

I have been to a number of studios though: Sun, Hitsville, Hansa and Abbey Road. Guess they count.

Although I’m not a fan of U2, I have been to Red Rocks in Colorado where they filmed the War tour and some tracks recorded were on Under A Blood Red Sky.

Amazing setting for concerts.
Not a huge U2 fan but that album and the concert footage are incredible. The flames, the rain and the natural setting. And a young band with raw talent before they drowned in commercialism and Bono's self obsessed nonsense

I love the band Mesh and loved this vid with its shots of the West Pier and the Brighton coast. Can't believe this is a track from the last century. One of my fave bands of the early noughties. Saw them twice.

The wardrobe in which The Cure appeared in the video for their single "Close to Me" can be seen on top of Beachy Head before it topples over the edge into the sea below....

Led Zeppelin's controversial and NSC rule breaching cover of their 1973 album "Houses of the Holy" (hence the censored version below) used Giant’s Causeway, County Antrim, Northern Ireland as a location.

As a huge Iron Maiden fan I really should make a pilgrimage to the Cart and Horses pub in Stratford.
