Looks about 12. Gosh it'd be exciting if we actually did have an Icelandic wunderkind on our hands!
No it was the U18's in a friendly against Eastbourne Borough's Academy side
Impressive for a 16 year old to score 5 vs players older than him, regardless of it being Eastbourne? Or does that detract significantly from it?
Scored 5 today. I think it must be the U16's though, not the u18's.

Thanks for the update. I must try and get along to see him play at some point. He sounds like an excellent prospect. Does anyone know whether the Under 18s have a fixture list please?
Is there any chance whatsoever of our holding on to this lad? He appears to be a great prospect. Is he actually our player? Have to say I'm a tad confused by this thread.
Emil Asmundsson? Or have we signed another?
Thanks for that. Do you know where the Under 18s play their home games?

Why wasn't he in the reserves at QPR?
Some bullshit from football rumours was thrown in suggesting he had left for Reading. He hasn't.
I believe they play at the University of Sussex Sports Grounds. The address given in the 2011-12 Youth Alliance Handbook is Ridge Road, Falmer, East Sussex, BN1 9RB.
I would assume that from next autumn, they will play their home games at the new academy at New Monks Farm, Lancing.
Larusson scored 2 goals for Iceland U17s in a 4-2 win against Slovakia in a european qualifier today.
This was why he didn't play for the U18s vs Birmingham then I guess. Good stuff!
Why would he if he is 15 years old?He hasn't appeared in any of the U-18 games so far this season.
