Ice Skating

[Beach Hut]

Just booked up the Ice Skating available at the Brighton Centre before Holiday On Ice starts.

Should be a laugh as I haven't ice skated for around 20 years minimum.

Anyone else going to book up and attempt to break their ankles ?

Went this morning (after a mad dash as allocation was 10:30 not 14:30 as I thought) and this was great fun and well worth going.

And the fall over count was Mrs Hut nil, Junior 1, me 2 and Mini 12 no less.

I was going to take my daughter until I discovered that it will cost us £21 for 90 minutes (which will be closer to an hour by the time we've collected out skates and put them on). That's a little too steep for me.

It is very expensive as £41 for 3 adults and one child however £10 of that was ticket master charges

I wish we could do what Americans do and skate around a big Christmas tree in the park. Or something.

That's true but it doesn't really matter where the money is going to, it still costs us; it's a complete rip-off
