Gelato Gusto in Gardner Street, too many favourite flavours to list.

I think I might just have to visit this place.

It might be interesting to have a thread that listed all the artisan shops in central Brighton, I know about the sausage shop and now this, but as a Shorehamite not too often visiting town, I just don't know these places.

I like old fashioned Cornish vanilla as long as its nice and creamy.
I also like good quality chocolate brownie ice cream with runny chocolate in it.
I love a good sundae, any type will do.
As for cones, I like a waffle cone dipped in chocolate.
Can you still get oysters? they were a waste of money because as you bite into it all the ice cream spilled out of the sides.
My kid likes bubble gum flavour but I think its appalling.

Bath, Somerset.
Cadbury's Flake Ice cream (not the cones) - but the soft cardboard tubs are bloody stupid; it's a struggle to scoop any out!

Also Raspberry Ripple, and Ben and Jerry's new 'Speculous' (like crushed ginger biscuits).

Good man. You could always squeeze In a cake and cuppa at the Mock Turtle also in Pool Valley to assist your recovery, wishing you well.

It's bloody great isn't it? I'm not much of a sweet tooth person but always have room and time for some of the frozen stuff. It has a great and real UK pedigree as well from blocks of vanilla, Neapolitan, raspberry ripple (and that ice magic stuff) and Mr Whippy via arctic roll, Vienetta to today's tubs of Ben and Jerry's and Hagen Daz.

Everyone's favourite capitalist hippies Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough is my current favourite, but it will change tomorrow.

What's yours?

We have a Baskin Robbins in our high street, great ice cream no matter if its a summers or winters day

Had so many lemons this year that experiments were called for. First was home made lemon sorbet [does it count as ice cream?], secondly made limoncello, works so well poured over the sorbet. Delicious is all I can say!

Shop bought, Lidl own brand vanilla in the red cartons or Mackie's vanilla which is made in Scotland, appears perpetually on offer everywhere and is Mrs. P's fave (due to her Scottish blood).
Out and about. Like a decent strawberry ice cream, with some vanilla alongside it, from a proper ice cream shop (Fusciardis in Eastbourne is a good example. If in Cornwall proper Cornish Ice Cread with a large dollop of Clotted Cream on top - neutralises the fat content I understand.
Or for a real once a year treat when on our hols. this place:-
