Heard over the weekend from someone who works at the club that an announcement on a new goalie is being made today, bloke it came from seems to be genuine so here`s hoping.

I would love Matt Murray Wolves keeper and PFA fans championship player of the year 3/4 years ago. He has been injured ever since he was voted championship player of the year, bar a short loan spell at Hereford last season. I have met him and he is absolutely a nice bloke too (I met him the day I went to see the pre-season 'behind closed doors' friendly between Wolves and Brighton) at Compton park.

I think he is recovering from yet another injury though, that he sustained on his comback match for Wolves reserves.

The keeper situation is a concern, why not bring in someone from the Youth, I hear good things about MItch Walker! Give him a chance.....

That was your first post but as others have said now is not the time to bring in a young inexperienced keeper, even one with great potential, we need an experienced man in there and perhaps Gus has done that by bringing in Peter Brezovan

I understand what you and others have said, but is there a "Right" time? If we were mid table, there would be an argument to keep an experienced goalkeeper so we could make the play offs. The same could be said if we were in the play offs. etc. Bite the bullet, get someone young who can get himself established.

We had the opportunity with Sullivan but the club chose otherwise and he had played for England at U18s and had plenty of potential. Perhaps it was a mistake to let him go, as it appears it was with Richard Martin who signed for Man City and is now out on loan, to Yeovil I thinks it .

The player has to signn the papers and they are then faxed to the Tooball League

The person who said it is the person that if the club did a poll to put a supporter on the board this person would probably win the vote.

Do people really still use fax machines these days? Come on, it's the 21st century.

Yep.

A fax is a computer, scanner and printer in one device.

If you aren't interested in resolution and are simply transmitting a hard document that needs printing at the other end quickly, it can be far more efficient.
