[Humour] Ian Cognito stand up comedian

Came across a documentary about him on Amazon Prime, alternative stand up who literally (sadly) died on stage in Bicester in 2019.

Never come across him before, but the documentary is top class, did anyone on here ever catch him live?

Yeah I saw him live at a festival. A naturally funny but slightly unhinged bloke. Owner of one of the greatest opening lines.

Walk on stage he'd take a hammer out, knock a nail into the side of the set and hang his coat on it.

"Now you know two things about me. One, I don't give a fùck. Two, I've got a hammer"

Knew him. Used to do quite a few gigs with him on the London alternative cabaret scene in the 80s. Lovely, clever guy.
