I'm watching Villreal v Wolfsburg on ITV4 at the mo.

Not a great game, but I'd just like to say how refreshing it is to have an intelligent, articulate and interesting summariser - and Iain Dowie for me definitely fits that bill - unlike the vast majority of drivel-laden tosh BBC, ITV and Sky often serve up.

Definitely agree with that. You don't realise how ill-served you are until something better appears. Dowie knows the game and can speak, an incredibly and increasingly rare combination in one person on TV especially.

Agreed, I'm a big fan of Dowie as a pundit. Has a sense of humour too, is used on SSN sometimes.

he is worth listening to, unlike some...althought cant beat johnny phillips for eye candy on Soccer Sat....hehe....mmmm
