I’ve still never been on it and I’m in Brighton at least twice a year, usually more. I wonder if it will survive the year?

It feels like a case of the directors running off with a lot of public money while a giant metal middle finger is presented to Brighton’s residents and taxpayers. I’m sure the project was well intentioned (at least on the council side) but I’m just waiting for the directors to shrug and claim it’s not financially viable, you can’t have your money back, but here’s this hugely expensive to run white elephant you can have in lieu of money owed.
