Have they now got the awaiting curse of the mystery foreign owner, when will the money start to dry up, will the club change hands once he's got the PL millions, could be a story worth watching ?

Not sure. I am always suspicious of late foreign investment (especially from Russians...) as they often don't care about the club, just the money

I'd be quite happy to see them and Saints in the Prem. Nice to see the Prem with a bit of a different look to it, especially with Norwich/Swansea and hopefully QPR staying up.

Whilst I am sure he is really nice bloke, Jason Roberts is pretty awful as a presenter / talking hole on 5Live. He is indecisive in his opinions and condescending to callers on 606. Bland on the the radio and the same on the pitch. Although I am sure he would quickly denounce my opinion of him as I haven't played professional football.

If Reading get promoted he will be demoted. 6/10 at best tonight.

You see, I quite like him as a presenter. Well spoken, pretty intelligent, and reasonable in his analysis.

Opinions, eh? Unfortunately for him, he'll never progress, as the main media organisations only want to promote big names, ie players who've spent their careers with "big" clubs, regardless of how dreadful they are as pundits. So instead of someone intelligent like Roberts, or Gavin Peacock who also used to be good, they promote the bland, fence-sitting, low IQ types like Jamie Redknapp. Even with years of experience, Lineker remains a distinctly average presenter, and yet the BBC give him MOTD, Sports Personality of the Year, Sport Relief, and even the golf at times. The MOTD sofa is like the 19th hole at Royal Lytham St Annes at times. No wonder Kenny Dalglish rarely gets questioned on that show with all his old golf buddies protecting him.

It's like someone at these organisations thinks that somebody's opinion can't possibly be valid if he spent his career playing for Bolton or Sunderland, as opposed to Liverpool or Arsenal.
