It is not THAT much different to last season's squad. We were led to believe it was better.

A decent manager would get us playing football or have a plan b when things are not working. He may also play people in proper positions.

The problem I think is we lack a ball playing centre midfield player. Someone who DEMANDS the ball off the back four. Last night Fraser was trying, El Abd gave it a go but neither has the ability or the awareness to do it well.

What was happening was El Abd was getting it off Elphick. Passing it back to Elphick who then had no option other than to hoof it.

If that is how we are going then we might as well sign some huge useless lump to play upfront.
