There are people on here that have been posting for much longer than me. Ive been posting for only a year and a half and am already bored of reading these threads from hove born and inbred. Always the same, oh oh guess where ive been? Then we are told about some moronic question that he put to GP, the sort of inane, nothing question which must surely drive GP to utter despair. Dealing with these local moron journos working for the upper east Portslade gazette or some such nonsense. Then hb&b has to come on here and wet himself in anticipation of telling us all about it whilst in the process telling us precisely nothing apart from how GP told me this, GP told me that as if it were only him and our manager together in a room. Utterly tedious nonsense and i can fully understand why posters who have been around a long time are just fed up with it at times.

By way of clarification, I wasn't necessarily saying HKFC is, in reality, as I described - indeed, I have never met him. I was simply making the observation that his abrasive posting style makes him come across as so. As he admits himself elsewhere in this thread, "I am definitely confrontational and condescending, and occasionally pompous."

So, in reality, I don't think I was that far away from the truth.

I knew this would come up. As a Brighton fan obviously im going to open a thread that potentially could contain info about signings, the team in general. Theres always that interest. Just to find someone attention seeking rather than imparting actual useful info is a touch frustrating after a while

I have met him and he is an intelligent, funny bloke who is excellent company and passionate about the Albion.

I would always be cautious about reading too much into someone's personality from the way they post. I for example would come across as a toilet humour and pornography obsessed football finance analyst when in reality.............Oh

Ah yes. Which brings to mind occasional opposite extreme:
Uncle Spielberg doesn't say anything abrasive but finds himself pilloried at regular intervals.
The concensus appears to be "well he does invite it".

Reading between lines or reading actual lines, the variety of personalities can be hard to make out with exact measure. Do some put out a chosen personality just because they want to project that on here, specifically?
Looking at Ernest, Meades Ball, hb&b, Nibble, looney & some others
I wonder if their NSC character sort-of matches-the-drapes so as to speak.

I understand, but theres always that temptation to open any thread that may contain info about our beloved team. Thats what annoys ppl because its just some attention seeking geek that just winds everyone up.
