Doomed. All doomed. All of us. Doomed.

The cash will be rolling in soon, just a few more weeks to wait.

Some posters seem to question this assertion from dougdeep, yet it's pretty obvious that significant* funds will be available once the final hurdle of 4th Sept is passed. From that date on, assuming no appeal, the value of Brighton & Hove Albion FC will be considerably enhanced. I have no inside knowledge, but I'm willing to bet that the likes of the Blooms will be digging deeper into their pockets, and other investors will begin to appear. Again, assuming no appeal, we will change from being a homeless financial basket-case to a real investment opportunity. It's a pity (from the perspective of early-season form) that the decision was delayed, and the final appeal date is AFTER the transfer deadline, and well after the time when most clubs were strengthening. However, post-4th Sept the Board can throw off some of their natural caution and loosen the purse strings.

*Everything is relative, obviously.
