what exactly do people expect?

We have spent f*** all money on two players, one a moderate sucess from last year and one journeyman who hopefully will get some goals.

We have NO MONEY for players, and we have to fund staying at Withdean on shite attendances and we have to start to fund the building of Falmer.

I dont believe the story that all of the building costs will be funded separately from the club......I think that funds wil be directed from the club to fund it.

Now the usual suspects will think that Falmer is the be and end of it all and perhaps they are right....BUT if this goes on, and the results carry on as they are, we could be in a situation come November when the gates are below 4k.

I personally think this squad is worse that last year currently and we will struggle to stay in the division...I hope sincerely I am very very wrong, but my first game this year will be Millwall at home and I am hoping we will not be in the bottom 4.

Very wise. Have you any Leonard Cohen classics to lighten the mood while you bury your season ticket amongst the veggie peelings?

Leonard Cohen be blowed. I've got a gross of Mogadon, the oven set to regulo 9, the stout rope just in case, and am about to put on Eric Carmen's 'All By Myself'. That should finish the evening off nicely.

That's it. I am throwing my season ticket in the bin. It's not worth the wallet it came in.

I've had enough.

You got a wallet?

I got ripped off-no wallet..grrrr. f***ing tickets aren't worth the wallet they didn't come in.

Nah. The stadium will be paid for by investors (and grants). The club will lease it.

Obviously the club has already spent a fortune on 'the stadium' (the planning) already. I imagine investors will be expected to pay the club for that.

But will the money go (back) to directors, or on new players? Guess we'll see.

The worst scenario:-
The downward slide continues. Opening match at Falmer in League 2.
What will a gate of 6000, look like in a 22-25000 seat stadium. Somehow there must be a miracle influx of cash into the club.

Most of it will go to pay off some of our spiralling debts.

thng is DK has publically stated we have a decent budget and we must have some spare cash, I'm sure we would of found the cash if anyone had appealed against Falmer. At this moment in time its as important to find some cash for team strengthining

I guess alan that there is a difference in being a realist and not?

Ok, maybe it was a big moan, but I have a horrible feeling that we have a season like last year looming, and if investment in this weak squad is not forthcoming, i can see people voting with their feet.

Next saturday will be the test of the gate....Southend will probably bring a full allocation and it will be interesting to see how many of teh Brighton faithful will turn out.

Its the last week of the cricket season( I will not be there obviously) and the schools will have gone back so most people will be back from holiday.....

The club have tried it and failed, Wendy put the whole of his remaining playing budget (£56.25) on 3,14,17,23,39 and 42 on last weeks Euro Millions rollover jackpot, but did not win.

I think we are Donald Ducked

The cash will be rolling in soon, just a few more weeks to wait.

how do you work that out Oh man in the know?

...and if you are referring to the so called money that will be transferred to the new B&HA Stadium Limited that was supposed to have happened when Prescott said yes, we were told that this money was not going to be available to the manager as it would be used to meet current debts.....

some people fell for that
