Potter is limited as a football manager. He coached some of our fantastic attacking players into shadows, incapable of scoring and with no cutting edge. He's now doing it at Chelsea much to everyone's amusement.

I pointed this out occasionally on here and got mixed feedback. I questioned if he was the right person to move us up the football food chain. RDZ has shown the Potter probably hit his ceiling with us.

I wonder if anyone realises I was right all along.

Funny old game - I’ll probably give it a bit longer before making any judgements

There really is no need for this, you know. If you want affirmation, do something good for your community.

Potter with a £1.2b cost squad. And CL games against relative cannon fodder.

RDZ operating on a budget of possibly one fifth of that.

Maybe - but I don’t really buy much into player valuations. Haaland is probably worth more than £50M, Grealish less than £100M, Cucurella probably not £60M even if he was our POTS.

Wages spend too, Chelsea blow us out of the water.

My point being that Potter has a squad of internationals who won the CL just 17 months ago, on that alone he should be fluking a load of wins. Manure and Chelsea just can stop spending, even in poor performances they scramble or dive their way to 80th minute EPL wins.

On that alone, it’s almost inevitable that he’ll fare far better than little old Albion.

I think there is a revision of history taking place here.

You condemned Potter long before he took us to our highest ever finish and started this season so well. Potter did well for us and was clearly liked by the team. Chelsea is a different animal, and it's early days there too.

RDZ has only been in charge for a few matches and we won the last couple. We don't know how he will work out long term.

Maybe - but he’s only lost to Newcastle, Man City & Arsenal, drawn with Man Utd. Only really the Brentford draw is ‘unexpected’ possibly, but then they just beat Man City - as well as us so on paper a good result perhaps.

If this run of losses was spread out I’m not convinced it’d be getting as much attention as it is.

you should've realised that you were very wrong when uncle tone picked up 20m compo, but of course you are completely free to carry on mugging yourself off that you are a modern day football guru
