I was actually there, when...



One I forgot.

I was there (early '90's I think) at White Hart Lane to see Gary Lineker get a hat trick against West Ham (a nothing at stake close to end of season game I think - possibly WH were already relegated!). Never did anything else all game apart from the hat trick!

When we got promoted 1958.
When Adrian Thorne got 5 against Watford.

Been to every Albion "historic occasion" since 1976 except Hereford as I couldn't get a ticket.

I also saw Wayne Rooney make his Everton debut v Wrexham in the league cup followed by his premiership debut v Arsenal when he scored the winner and ended Arsenals record unbeaten run.

I was also at Tranmere v Reading when anything other than a Reading win would have got us promoted. It ended 2-2 and I had fun winding up the Reading fans with my BHA "we are going up" flag.
