It is a disgrace he is not starting when sparrow & dicker are getting match time...we are just too defensive, one goal in the last 8 yes 8 1st halves, our formation of 7-0-3 ain't doing it...Lua Lua was our BEST player til Xmas when we went well clear and puts other teams on the back foot...attack is the best means of defence, not the 'possession obsession' (good phrase ive just invented?!) that we have now...lua Lua scares defenders & to not use him is a disgrace

He also leaves Painter and his lack of pace woefully exposed by not being able to defend

He hasn't had many chances this season admittedly, but from what I've sen of Lua Lua since he came back he is not the same player as he was last year. Whether that is because of his injury or because of the step up a division I don't know but at this moment in time with more pressing areas of the side to address then the wideman position in which both Noone and Buckley are rightly ahead of him in the pecking order, I can't see us extending his loan let alone signing him permanently

To my surprise Noone has been playing out of his skin and fully earns his place but am looking forward to both him and Lau playing together for at least part of a home match

He's simply not had the game time to make a proper impact this season. Getting 10 or 20 minutes here and there he'd have to do something AMAZING in that time for anyone to think he's worth having in the side.

I still think he's got something to offer. His pace occupies defenders, creating space for others. He draws the fouls, and his delivery whilst not always perfect has still been decent as often as not, like most wingers. Noone has been excellent, but his delivery of crosses is not always the best either, he overhit several by miles last night. If Lua Lua came on and did that, he's be written off immediately.

Cut the guy a bit of slack. If he's given a proper run in the team he's definitely still worth his place IMO.

Not playing because Noone has been on fire and when he has come on he has not really been able to get himself in the game. Now Buckley is back and with Vicente he is really going to struggle to make the bench. Unless an injury occurs can't see him featuring much between now and Xmas.
Don't think he has lost his pace at all but full backs at this level are better and are not going to let someone just put the ball past them and then whip in a cross. Can still do a job but needs to get some consistence in his crossing when he does play
